I am feeling very inspired as I am in the planning stages of a new collection. I still have to work out the underlying theme of the collection but it will be replacing my current couture collection. I have lots of creative ideas and have been busy making sketches and choosing colours! Feeling very giddy!

Gorgeous new beads!

These are my new arrivals! The top picture is a gorgeous selection of faceted rondelles in Peridot, Aquamarine and beautiful raspberry pink Rhodolite Garnet! The picture underneath is of stunning faceted cubes of pink, green and purple Mystic Quartz. So gorgeous, I can't wait to get working with them all!

I have been creating some lovely necklaces today, working with Brandy Citrine, Green Kyanite and gorgeous Chocolatey smoky Quartz. Here in Yorkshire it has been a very gloomy day weather wise so I have not been able to take any photos of the new stuff, but hopefully tomorrow will produce some better daylight! My mojo has been well and truly flowing today and I am thrilled with my new creations. Watch this space!

My new collection

I have finally decided on a name for my new collection. Announcing the forthcoming arrival of......Deco Follies. I am really exited about this collection, it is slightly different from my signature style of bold, chinky statement pieces. These designs are feminine, beautiful and elegent and I have used some fabulous faceted semi precious stones including Amethyst, Citrine and Rose Quartz.

The collection was inspired by the Art Deco era, and while the designs are not overtly Deco in design, I feel they represent the feel of the 1920's and 30's, when life was gentle, simple and quietly sophisticated. Think of the tinkling of china under the soft lights of the ritz tearoom, or lemonade on a sunny lawn, with elegent ladies wearing beautiful tea dresses and looking gorgeous. I have named each of the pieces after a popular ladies name of the era and the collection includes delights such as the Lola necklace and Florence bracelet.

Over the next few days I will gradually be putting the collection ont my website, so I hope you will stop by and take a look.

My stunning new rare Green Kyanite beads. I have them in several sizes and they are totally gorgeous. Can't wait to create something beautiful with them! Watch this space!

Serious lack of blogging of late, I will put this right! I have been really busy designing and creating some gorgeous new jewellery, slightly different from my signature style. The new collection is understated elegance, very feminine and in lovely pastel shades. I have been working with some new gems, lovely faceted rondelles, and I am thrilled with the result. There is a slight ethereal feel to this collection and I am thinking of calling it the Faerie Collection. It reminds me of the sort of jewellery that would be worn by the Deva kingdom, as they flit around the woodlands!

I have also got some stunning new beads this week, they are rare green Kyanite. They are a beautiful apple green and have an inner twinkle. Pics will be posted soon.
